Welcome to the Sixth Form at Ranelagh

Ranelagh Sixth Form is a vibrant, inclusive and inspiring community where every student is encouraged to fulfil their academic potential whilst developing into confident, compassionate and responsible global citizens. Our dedicated and highly experienced staff are passionate about their subjects and committed to motivating, challenging and supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes, regardless of their starting point. Guided by our ethos of excellence and inclusion, we empower students to pursue ambitious futures, whether through higher education, apprenticeships or employment.

At Ranelagh, learning extends far beyond the classroom. We place great emphasis on independence, leadership, courageous advocacy and fostering a genuine love of lifelong learning. Our unique “Be the Change” programme encourages Year 12 students to engage meaningfully with both the school community and the wider world, helping them to develop a strong sense of responsibility and the confidence to make a positive difference.

Our extensive Sixth Form Enrichment programme further enhances the student experience through a broad range of opportunities across three pathways: Sport & Wellbeing, Academic & Wider Learning, and Service & Community. These opportunities allow students to explore new interests, develop valuable skills and shape their aspirations for the future.
